Project and business assessment

SIGLA played an active role in the deregulation process of the Argentine and Latin American electricity markets, advising public and private companies on different privatizations, mergers and acquisitions.

As an advisor to the Argentine Secretariat of Energy, SIGLA advised on the privatization of the high voltage systems that resulted in the creation and privatization of Transener, Transnoa, Transpa, Distrocuyo and Transnea.

It developed important pre-feasibility and feasibility studies of international electrical interconnections, cleaning, land management for mining companies, expert advice, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, among others.

Electrical interconnections

  • Review of previous studies and expansion plans for generation and transmission, as well as technical and economic planning studies, etc.
  • Exchange perspectives
  • Project identification and profile preparation
  • Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies of the selected profiles
  • Project adequacy
